Matteo Ferrari is the first Moto E World Champion!
This is a historic victory for Matteo Ferrari, the first rider in the world winning an electric motorcycle competition. The Italian rider of the Trentino Gresini Team won the championship after a difficult starting at the beginning of the season, collecting only fifth’s position in the first two races.
At the end of the race, Fausto Gresini commented: “It’s nice to win the first title of this championship for electric motorcycles. It is a great satisfaction for us and Matteo was good at managing the situation. When you are fighting for the title it is never easy ”.
